This document provides a Mathcad model which can be used to evaluate the transient response to various torque disturbances applied at the load. Each span region:
- Χ = 3
- 2 ≤ χ < 3
- 3 < χ < 25
Is examined for the disturbance impact. The Limited Span Method (LSM), 2 ≤ χ < 3 is shown to give the best results.
